I am originally from London and am a long standing Chelsea supporter. I have lived in the North East since 1974. I spent 10 years in Newcastle and moved to the practice here in 1984. I lived in Nunthorpe with my four children for many years and have recently moved to live on the North York Moors.
I work at Durham Medical School as a Tutor for Phase one medical students. I am busy as a GP Appraiser. I am also involved in the early stages of GP commissioning in the area of prescribing.
My hobbies include: cycling, walking and the theatre. In 2011 i cycled Lands End to John O'Groats for the second time (for fun and not charity)

MBBS MRCP MRCGP
I was born and raised in Nunthorpe and graduated from Newcastle Medical School in 2002. I have worked in various specialties including radiology, A&E and acute medicine before qualifying as a GP in 2012. I was a locum in the local area prior to commencing as a salaried GP here. I enjoy the variety that general practice brings me, however I am also hoping to develop a greater interest in dermatology and musculoskeletal medicine in the future. In my spare time I have a passion for music, films and books, enjoy watching live comedy, walking, the occasional surf (when its no too cold!) and obviously spending time with my family and friends. I am really looking forward to becoming part of the team here.
