We do not issue toilet passes or letters for schools to allow unrestricted toilet access.
Decisions about toilet access during the school day are the responsibility of the school, not the GP. Schools should have their own policies for managing students’ needs, including where there are medical concerns.
GPs will only provide medical letters when there is a clear medical diagnosis that requires a specific accommodation, and only after a clinical assessment.
Routine or administrative requests for toilet passes cannot be provided.
Parents and students are advised to discuss toilet access directly with the school.
