When We Are Closed

Urgent advice: In an emergency

In an emergency, call 999 immediately or go to your nearest Accident & Emergency (A&E) department.

If you currently in a mental health crisis call 111 and select option 2 or go to your nearest A&E department.

If you need medical advice when the surgery is closed

If you need medical advice when the surgery is closed please call 111 or use NHS 111 online.

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service.

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.

Click here to access NHS 111 online or call 111 to speak to a staff member.

You can use 111 at any time for advice if you are unsure about a health situation when it seems to be less urgent than an emergency.
